Service Options for Seniors provides a resource centre with information about and facilitates access to a variety of seniors programs and services available locally, regionally, provincially and federally. This includes assistance to access pensions, grants, benefit programs, health care, housing and other needed services.
Provides information in a variety of formats to suit individual needs and situations. Formats include: resource Centre – written information resources, computer access to information, telephone or in-person consultation and referral, assistance to access appropriate services, assistance with completion of application forms, advocacy on behalf of client and home visits if necessary.
The centre is readily accessible by seniors and accommodates the needs for direct personal service by a qualified, informed individual. We currently have expanded these services to the area served by the Battle River Community Foundation and East Central Health. In the future, with the assistance of the Camrose & District Volunteer Centre we hope to provide a contact in various communities to follow the mission of Camrose & District Seniors Information Society. |
