Organization Name: Canadian Northern Society - Camrose Railway Station Museum and Gardens
Description of organization: The Camrose Railway Station and park offers a relaxing, hospitable experience where history comes alive through historical themed teas, lunches, events, gardens and children's activities and programs. The station and park are volunteer managed and offer our volunteers ongoing contact with others with similar interests, life time learning experiences and opportunity to use their gifts to preserve and interpret our prairie and railway history.

Duties: Committee work in the area of your choice. A variety of opportunities to utilize gifts and skills. There are hands-on opportunities where you can enjoy the company of fellow volunteers.
Skills & Experience Required: Ability to communicate with fellow volunteers, desire to be part of a team that is community focused and has a desire to preserve prairie history and promote community development. No previous experience as a board member required.
Other Comments: Our volunteers are much appreciated, we have a great group of people in our "volunteer family" and have events which to celebrate them!

Training Provided: Orientation to the society and its mission, board functions, policies and procedures, expectations. Orientation to historic site.
