T.I.P.S. is a preventative program promoting independence, parenting skills and good nutrition for pregnant women and families with preschool children facing multiple barriers. Information on parenting, pregnancy, labour and delivery, nutrition, breastfeeding, child development is provided through: Home Visitation, Community Kitchen, Parenting classes, Parent & Child activities. Program also provides referrals and support to access other resources.

Meets the needs of youth ages 11-24 years who find themselves at risk. Services range from provision of physical needs to opportunities for healing and hope. Outreach services include: street outreach, emergency food & housing, advocacy and training for people who support youth in our community. We provide support with a variety of issues including conflict, substance use, and sexual exploitation. The Open Door's employment programs provide activity-based employability and life skills training, community service and work experience opportunities.
